Joe Pinelli
Joe Pinelli has worked extensively over the years in helping people rid
themselves of the harmful effects of drugs, medicines and alcohol. He
is a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor and Certified
Detoxification Specialist and has also specialized in marriage, family
and personal counseling.
Through his years of practice, he saw that drugs, medications or
alcohol were usually at the root of much of the trouble people were
having in their work, family and personal lives.
“Having gone through my teenage years in the 1960’s, I saw firsthand
the harmful effects drugs and alcohol had on individuals and the very
moral fabric of the culture. But even those early years were nothing
in comparison to the devastation created in our current society with
the introduction of psychiatric drugs, antidepressants and other
behavioral modification drugs. The addiction and side effects of these
poisons are unlike anything I have seen in my 30 plus years of
practice. People are being prescribed antidepressants and psychotropic
drugs as commonly today as aspirin was 50 years ago. My purpose is to
help others get their lives back by freeing them of these chemical
dependencies.”
Today, Mr. Pinelli practices at the Institute of Detoxification and
Health, in the Woodlands, Texas, using the Hubbard method of
detoxification in coordination with his colleagues in the medical,
chiropractic and alternative medicine fields.
Mr. Pinelli is certified with the National Association of Forensic
Counselors (NAFC) and the International Academy of Detoxification
Specialists.
Claire Pinelli
BA, MA, MAC, Diplomate of the Board, LADC, ICADC
Claire Pinelli has been a personal counselor and educator since
1973. She has taught children of all ages [pre-school through college]
in both the private and public sectors. As and educator, Ms. Pinelli
witnessed first hand the effects that alcohol and drugs [both illegal
and prescribed] had on our young people; our future. So in 2001 Mrs.
Pinelli began specializing in treating alcohol and drug abuse.
She has been the Senior Case Supervisor of a long term residential drug
rehabilitation program in Oklahoma, Narconon Arrowhead, which was
servicing over 200 clients daily. Her duties at Narconon Arrowhead
included monitoring the quality of clinical delivery to each client as
well as ensuring that the counselors were well trained professionals
and capable of helping their clients beat addiction problems.
It became apparent to her that more well trained Alcohol and Drug
Counselors were needed if the global epidemic was going to be
confronted. Mrs. Pinelli then decided she had to put her attention on
training Alcohol and Drug Counselors so that they could better service
the clients and produce more drug free individuals who would be able to
go out and remain drug free and contribute to society.
While she continues working on the training of Alcohol and Drug
Counselors she is now focusing her attention on assisting people to
handle the physical effects drugs have had on them. As the drugs and
toxins remain in the individual’s body for years after cessation of
use, Mrs. Pinelli has helped start, The Institute for Detoxification
and Health in The Woodlands, Texas with other professionals in order to
assist people in ridding their bodies of these poisons. Once the body
is free of these stored toxins the person will look and feel better
both emotionally and physically. This gives them a stable point from
which they can continue their lives.

Dr. Durrett’s purpose is to improve the health of as many people as
possible by relieving suffering, restoring proper function thereby
improving quality of life.
Philosophy
Dr. Durrett teaches that we now live in a world that has become
polluted with drugs, chemicals, radiation and other toxins that are
robbing people of good health. Furthermore, these drugs, chemicals and
other toxic substances are costing people mental clarity and sound
mental function. In order to escape the damage caused by these toxins,
we must utilize effective ways to rid the body of these poisons. Also,
we must have an effective means of natural health care that minimizes
the use of drugs and other sources of future toxic exposure. Dr.
Durrett has dedicated over 28 years to this system of healthcare.
